Another successful week of having students online and in person! Thank you for helping your child have the materials they need to be successful. We ended the week with far less students unable to find what they needed. Thank you!
Attendance: Our attendance both online and in person has been amazing. The students are logged on and ready to go when we return from recess or lunch.
ATLAS: Please continue to check ATLAS and see how your child’s work is progressing this quarter. We have seven weeks left of fourth grade; we want to finish strong.
Cameras On: PLEASE encourage your child to have their camera on when they are not physically in school. It helps them focus and enables me to help them focus as well. Friday morning, I had my in-person students turn their cameras off, and only 4 of the 22 students online had their cameras on. This is a huge problem that has an easy solution.
Materials: This week was much better as we moved into the later part of the week. Please encourage your child to check the list that is posted on our general channel every day to make sure they have what they need.
Every Kid in a Park: As the weather starts improving and our National Parks are opening to more visitors, just a reminder that you can get a National Park Pass for your fourth-grade student. It can be used to cover your entry fee to the parks as long as your child is with you. Copy and paste the website below into your browser and let the outdoor fun begin.
Math Facts: I am seeing that many of our students need a little help memorizing their basic math facts. There is a great website - https://www.mathsisfun.com/ - where they can choose which facts or set of facts they need to practice. It is fun and quick.
