HYBRID SCHEDULE BEGINS THIS WEEK – Thank you, in advance, for your patience this week as we work through any challenges with students in person and online at the same time.
Group A will attend classes in person on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Group B will attend classes in person on Thursday and Friday.
Groups A and B will attend on-line from home on the days they are not in person.
Group C will be on-line every day.
If your child is in groups A or B, and you were unable to attend our meeting last Wednesday morning regarding returning to school, please watch the link I sent to your child on Friday. It can be found in their chat with me.

Start Times – PLEASE help your child be at their computer ON TIME. Once we have students in person and on-line, there may be times when our on-line group will need to wait for us to be in the classroom, but I still want to stress that they need to be at the computer on time.
MATERIALS PICK UP FOR GROUP C: Materials will be outside the office from Monday - Wednesday this week for any of our Group C students. PLEASE make sure to pick them up by Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 since we will be using the materials on Thursday. Group A or B students that will not be coming to school in person this week will need to pick theirs up as well, but you will need to let me know so I can put them out for you. They will be IN FRONT OF THE OFFICE since parents are not to walk to classrooms.
Hybrid Students- Organization is going to be key! There will be a lot of materials that will need to go back and forth each day. Each child must bring their computer (fully charged) and power cord every day along with many other supplies. Students will need to look carefully at the Weekly Schedule each day to plan for materials. Masks will be required 100 percent of the school day.
STATE TESTING– State testing has been canceled! If you wrote the dates on your calendar, you may delete them. We will be taking i-Ready one last time and that will be used as the students’ testing data. Your child is welcome to work on i-Ready at home as much as they would like to prepare for the test.
District Computer – If your child does not have a district computer, or they are having problems with their district computer, please call the FLATS office at 457-3939 and have one ready to use. Some students in the pilot program who brought their own devices experienced challenges connecting to the internet.
Thank you for your support and for helping keep your child focused at home!
